Job Description

Our client, who are market leaders in surface protection solutions, have an opportunity for a Workshop Technician / Stores Manager to join their team based in Caerphilly.

  • Salary: £22,500 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Location: Caerphilly
  • This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday.
The Company:An established specialist subcontractor with a projects division which provides Principal Contractor services for their clients. They are a major player in flooring systems with an extensive range of projects and a string of industry awards.The Workshop Technician / Stores Manager role:This dual role will require a candidate with -
  • Mechanical and Electrical knowledge to demonstrate a capability for maintaining and repairing equipment and tooling.
  • Organisational skills to run an effective stores system to include stock taking, ordering, and issuing of items from stores.
  • A strong character able to deal with site teams to ensure accountability for equipment, small tools, and consumables.
  • Experience in maintenance, stores management and floor preparation equipment will be an advantage.
