Location: Cardiff CF3Salary: Pay to scaleHours: 8.30 – 15.30 Monday – FridayContract: Temp (maternity cover)Start date: February 2024- July 2024Are you an experienced Welsh Teacher looking for a new opportunity Have you got previous Welsh Teaching experience, or looking to develop this furtherWe are currently recruiting a Welsh Teacher to support our client in the Cardiff area. You may have previously worked as a Welsh Teacher or wanting to develop your classroom experience, if so, we want to hear from you!Applicants will be required to be organised, punctual, prepared for any situation.Role and Responsibilities:• Liaise with faculty.• Willingness to work in an ever-changing environment.• Have the ability to communicated clearly and effectively with staff and pupils.• Be able to support pupils with queries or concerns.• follow and adapt to school policies and procedures.• Experience Teaching Welsh over KS2-KS5• Familiar with WJEC spec.What do we need from you• Previous experience in a school Teaching role• Ability to manage behaviour and adapt to changing environments• QTS/Welsh Specialist• Experience teaching Welsh over KS2-5What you need to register with Reed:• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.• Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.• Provide 5 years relevant references.InterestedPlease apply with your most recent CV including all relevant experience to the role, a designated consultant will then be in touch to discuss your application further.
