Welder FabricatorLocation: CaerphillyContract type: Temporary, ongoingPay: £12.50 - £14.00 per hour DOEDue to continued growth, one of the UKs leading fencing and guarding manufacturers has a number of Skilled Welder/Fabricator vacancies. This client is seeking candidates with good all-round knowledge of fabrication and fitting techniques using a range of materials.Skills to include reading engineering and hand-drawn sketches, MIG welding, TIG welding (preferable but not essential) using a guillotine and semi-automatic saws.Skills required: * Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, sketches and documentation* Must be able to work under own initiative with limited supervision, timely and with accuracy* Previous experience in welding/fabrication is essential* Work with precision components and tolerances* MIG is the main form of welding but TIG Welding skills would be advantageous* Work to a high standard* Work unassisted and be able to work on your own initiative, under minimal supervision* Work under pressure ensuring time scales are achieved and deadlines are metOther attributes:* Health & safety conscious* Team player* Flexible (overtime when required)* Willing to engage in continuous improvement projects* Good time-keeping* Use hand held and air powered tools* 39 hours per week plus overtime* Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm Friday 7am - 12pmAcorn by Synergie acts as an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
