Job Description

Our established client is looking to recruit an experienced, competent and inspirational manager who will lead from the front with in their busy Warehouse Operation.Key Duties:

  • Motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met
  • Creation and implementation of a cross training plan for all team members within the team
  • Dealing with any discipline issues that may arise within the department.
  • To develop a culture of continuous improvement within the team setting goals that will drive improvements in performance and hygiene throughout the warehouse.
  • Implement cost reduction principle in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities
  • Liaising & negotiating with suppliers and other areas of the business
  • Analysing data to monitor performance & plan improvements
  • Setting objectives for staff and fulfilling those objectives
  • Maximising the efficient use of space
  • Organisation and participation in stock taking activities
  • Producing reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, monthly basis or as and when required
  • Maintaining the sections KPIs to target
  • Department budgetary control
  • Being aware of MHRA Good Distribution Practice requirements
  • Preparation and delivery of presentations
Skills Required
  • KPI reporting
  • Strong communication, planning and organisational skills
  • Computer literate and clear & concise report writer
  • Highly effective problem solver
  • Strong people manager essential
Qualifications and Training
  • Professional qualification in Logistics/warehousing Management
  • Professional qualification in Leadership & Management Skills
Hours are Mon-Friday 9am-5pm however flexibility essential company offer a fantastic benefit package and working environment.
