Job Description

Warehouse ManagerCaerphilly County22174/900£30-35,000This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse manager to join a rapidly expanding organisation. Working in the life sciences field, the successful candidate will have a strong warehousing background and will organise and oversee the distributionof their innovative product. Following significant investment and a newly put together strategy, this is an exciting time for a driven warehouse manager to join a growing business.Job Description

  • Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with companys policies and vision
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
  • Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration preferred
