Job Description

Supply Teaching Assistant Contract/Position Details

  • Location - Pontllanfraith
  • Position - Supply Teaching Assistant
  • Type of work - Class teaching, marking, assessment where applicable
  • Start date - ASAP
  • Likely Duration - Ongoing
  • Position end date - Ongoing
  • Contract type - Temporary
  • Full-time potential
  • Minimum rate of pay - £84.70 per day
  • School hours - e.g. 8:30am-3:30pm (term time only)Key Responsibilities
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification or experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Providing one-to-one and group support to students
  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials
  • Supporting students with additional needs or those with English as an additional language
  • Helping to maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as required
