Job Description

Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a Tax Manager for an acquisitive organisation based near Cardiff.The Tax Manager is a newly created role. Reporting to the CFO, the Tax and Finance Manager will provide integrated tax planning and advice to senior management around several international entities and multiple international transactions.The candidate requires a tax background but this role would suit a candidate looking to evolve beyond pure tax, helping to ensure the smooth operation of finance matters through assisting with various month end tasks and preparation of Management Reports.Furthermore, the Tax and Finance Manager will assist the Finance and Strategy teams with various projects that are ongoing within the business.

  • Advice to Senior Leadership Team regarding tax implications of international expansion.
  • Work closely with Legal and Commercial Trading departments to ensure tax compliance for international transactions, including sales tax relief schemes.
  • Supporting local tax filings for several entities and supporting other tax compliance activities in those jurisdictions.
  • Responsible for maintaining and completing VAT records, including monthly submission to HMRC
  • Responsible for liaising with UK Tax consultants regarding Corporate Tax computation and reconciling the groups Corporation Tax position.
  • Assist in the production of monthly management accounts
  • Assist in the production of monthly management report
  • Ensure that the financial controls within the business are working as planned and suggest ways of improving any areas of weakness.
  • Liaise with auditors where required.
On offerA salary from £50,000 to £65,000.
