Our client is a leading specialist electronics manufacturing company that produces bespoke products. Due to an increase in demand, growth, and investment they are looking to increase their manufacturing capacity and are now seeking an experienced StoresPerson to join their team on a permanent basis - days regular. Main Purpose of Role* To efficiently pick and prepare works orders for various production areas on the start date given on the data management system Outcomes of Role* Picking works orders to start date * Ensure that kit is picked efficiently with no over or under issues, ensuring stock accuracy * Kit picked within time allowed * area to aspire to the highest levels of housekeeping and visual controlResponsibilities* Book away material to locations whilst checking sample sheets and accuartely maintaining stock cards * Pick parts accurately whilst maintaining GRN control and updating stock cards * Ensure correct ESD packaging is used during storage * Ensure that all opened packaging is sealed and quantities identified clearly and stored safely in correct locations * Control deviation material in line with company procedures. * Ensure that good housekeeping standards are maintained throughout the picking process * Accurately receive and pack returned material from production whilst updating stock cards and storing correctly * Ensure that all company operating values and compliance procedures are always adhered to, including quality management, health and safety, legal stipulation, environmental policies and general duty of care. * Any other duties deemed necessary.Certifications / Knowledge* Counterbalance and Reach FLT Licence * Basic knowledge of computers * Good numerical and literacy levelsAcorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
