Job Description

SQL Software Engineer - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, South WalesMy client is looking for someone to support with the progression of their innovative IT strategy and as a result are now seeking SQL Software Engineer to join a friendly and talented IT Team in what will be a fantastic opportunity to contribute to its implementation.In this role, you will:

  • Provide proactive support to your customers
  • Manage and develop maintenance/upgrade plans
  • Assist in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics
  • Perform database administration
  • Develop reports
    • You will be responsible for ensuring that the software applications are secure, resilient, future proof and fit for purpose. You will also work closely with the team to maintain the accuracy and integrity of any data kept on all applications and related databases.It is just as important to have the right qualifications and relevant experience, as it is the right attitude. Ideally, you should be disciplined, self-motivated and have excellent interpersonal skills to allow you to deliver outstanding service to your customers and help us achieve the overarching business objectives.Key Skills Required:
  • Systems administration
  • SSRS or SSIS
  • Change control
  • Relational databases such as SQL and/or Ingres
  • Development experience
