Job Description

The Senior IT Analyst is responsible for 1st to 3rd line support on all aspects of the IT infrastructure. To be the local team point of contact for all escalations. The role will cover everything from desktop hardware/software through to the Server infrastructurefor local areas. This is a 12 month fixed term contract covering secondment, based in Caerphilly.Client DetailsOur client is a manufacturing and production company based in CaerphillyDescriptionThe Senior IT Analyst will:

  • Provide a 1st to 3rd line support on all aspects of the IT infrastructure.
  • indirect leadership of 2 support analysts
  • Responsible for the administration and support of servers with support from the IT manager
  • Management of infrastructure maintenance contract and third party companies.
  • Occasionally support the IT Team Leader
  • Contribute to and follow all IT processes as required by IT Management.
  • Actively participate in local / global projects as required by IT Management
  • Actively participate in process improvements activities either locally or globally as required by IT Management
  • Build effective relationships with colleagues and the business to ensure effective IT service delivery.
  • Responsible for the administration of AD accounts
  • Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly admin task
  • Responsible for back up process on site.
  • LAN / WAN support.
  • Occasional out of hours working and travel may be required as part of this role
ProfileThe Senior IT Analyst will have a proven track knowledge of:
  • Multi-site/server environment (25+)
  • Microsoft Certified MCSA/MCSE / VMware Qualification
  • Supporting and maintaining a virtual environment (VmWare and Hyper-V)
  • Hands-on experience of Server 2012 or more
  • SharePoint 2013 or more
  • Microsoft Skype for Business
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Office 2013 or more
  • Office 365
  • Azure
  • MDM solution
  • SSCM/SCOM/Nagios
  • Citrix
  • VEEAM and Backup exec
  • Writing detailed URS/SOP/WI/IQ/OQ/PQ documentation
  • Strong level of hardware/software troubleshooting ability
  • Knowledge of Applications environment
  • Apple devices
  • Citrix / Virtual Desktop
