Our client is looking for a Temporary Receptionist to join their team for 4 weeks starting next week. The role will involve operating the Front of House and and answering phone calls ensuring an excellent customer service experience. You will provide support to other departments as required, showing flexibility and willingness to support colleagues and take on additional duties as required by the Company.ResponsibilitiesAnswering phone, fielding calls professionally during busy times and creating a positive first impression and maintaining security by following procedures and controlling access via Reception (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)Respond to customer and visitor enquiries by: Quickly identifying whether it is a low-level enquiry (and providing the answer) or whether the enquiry needs to be escalated (and obtaining appropriate assistance)Maintain interview rooms to be presentableMaintain and order stationery and materials stockMonitor and respond to the meeting room calendars and maintain electronic recordsManage deliveries and postal servicesScanning mail into the databaseEssential SkillsMust have Reception experienceAbility to work independentlyMust be a confident communicatorWorking hours are 9am to 5.30pm Mon-Friday in a very busy environment. There is the possibility for this role to go permanent or be extended if the person fits in and does the temporary role well. Required skills
