Job Description

Title: Project WorkerContract type: full-time (37hrs) temporary Maternity CoverSalary: £22,898.00 + £34.54 for each sleep-in.Location: Rhymney, CaerphillyWorking Pattern: The scheme is covered 24 hours, 7 days a week so you would be expected to work on a 6-week rolling rota which would involve: days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.What is great about the roleTy Idris Davies offers the people we support a community living experience and can offer the resources required to meet their needs. We have a culturebuilt on our values to be Positive, Considerate and Connected.Day to Day Duties: As a Project Worker you will lead each shift by managing the scheme and overseeing the Scheme Support Officers.Your day will consist of:

  • Engaging and interacting with our service users
  • Writing and following a support plan with the individual you are supporting
  • Delivering workshops relating to tenancy management and health and wellbeing
  • Liaising with external agencies
  • Addressing any additional needs, the people we support might have
Our motivation is to ensure we equip these individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to live independently. This is a challenging role and you will be faced with complex behaviours and needs, including alcohol misuse, mental health, substance misuse,victims of domestic abuse, care leavers, refugees, and offending behaviour. You will work with a range of different personalities and behaviours so you will need to be able to adapt your approach to engage with a diverse cliental.Pobl Benefits:
