Job Description

PE Teacher / Caerphilly / £148.04Teaching Personnel are working closely with one of our client Secondary Schools in Caerphilly, South Wales to recruit a Physical Education (PE) teacher to work full-time starting September 2022. This opportunity is suitable for a strong and experienced PETeacher with prior teaching experience across KS3 and 4.The school is a mixed secondary school which has a high emphasis on sport. You will be joining a enthusiastic sports department that excel in driving pupils learning and development. A lot of students lose interest in education but love sport. We are lookingfor candidates who can close that gap and help students focus on their education as well as thriving in sport.The client school is situated in the Caerphilly borough and has great connections and public transport available. We are looking for a PE teacher in the area who is highly driven, ambitious and puts the pupils educational needs first. The school is lookingfor someone to come in and improve the teacher-pupil relationships.The successful PE teacher must be:

  • An enthusiastic PE Teacher with relevant qualifications
  • An excellent role model with a desire to share this with pupils and staff
  • Committed to raising achievement and able to deliver excellent outcomes
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others
  • An ability to teach dance would be an advantage
Requirements
  • The Teaching Assistant must have:
  • Enhanced Child only DBS (Help will be provided)
  • Registered with the education workforce (Help will be provided)
  • Available full time
  • Safeguarding Trained (Free course available)
  • 2 recent references
