Job Description

What being a Master Data Administrator at DS Smith will involveAre you looking for an exciting and challenging administrator role with lots of opportunity to learn and develop Are you a highly organised individual with strong administrative skills, meticulous attention to detail and a desire to provide great customerservice to our global colleaguesReporting to the Head of Business Services - Master Data you will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the master data within various systems for DS Smith sites around the globe. Your key responsibility is to work from our case management systemand inquisitively validate and accurately create and maintain the master data within a controlled environment, supporting the wider team with any ad-hoc duties as and when required.Master Data Administrators are expected to support all DS Smith sites and resolve any customer queries within clearly defined service level agreements.NB Our office is open from 8am - 6pm and working hours will be within these times. We do offer hybrid working - usually 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.We also support colleagues in the USA with master data activity and therefore there will be a requirement to work 1 - 3 late shifts per month (on a rota basis) from 3pm until 11pm UK time, however this shift will always be worked from home.We welcome applications to work on a part-time basis.What we would like our candidate to haveThe Essentials:

  • Ability to prioritise and work flexibly in order to complete ad-hoc duties as and when required
The Desirables:
  • Administration experience within a busy environment
  • An ability to speak a second language (ideally German, Spanish or Portuguese) would be great but not essential
