Job Description

Marketing Assistant Caerphilly £23,000 - £25,000 per annumAre you a Marketing Assistant seeking a new and challenging role with a growing company Are you seeking a role that will allow you to grow and develop your skillset whilst working as part of a supportive team If so then wed like to hear from you! Yolk Recruitment are currently hiring for a Marketing Assistant to sit as part of the E Commerce team for one of our well established clients. This role requires a general understanding and experience in digital marketing channels such as content creation,SEO and email campaigns. Any ability in graphic design would also be extremely beneficial. Heres what youll be doing:

  • Planning, creating and sending email campaigns to support marketing objectives
  • Copywriting for blogs, product pages and PR pieces
  • Building product and landing pages
  • Optimising new and existing product content
  • Enhancing all aspects of user experience including imagery, attachments and attributes
  • Planning, creating and scheduling social media posts including copy and graphics
  • Creation of website banners, email footers and promotional flyers
  • Reporting on success and results of marketing campaigns and suggestions for further improvement
The skills and experience youll bring to the team:
  • Youll have strong copywriting skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in WooCommerce and WordPress would be an advantage
  • Experience in using any design tools such as Canva for graphics and imagery creation would be an advantage
  • Youll have experience using MailChimp
  • Youll have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks according to business requirements
  • Youll have strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to manage your time well
  • Experience in reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Data Studio would be a huge advantage
