Job Description

Platform Resourcing are currently working in partnership with a well-established engineering and technical business based in the Caerphilly area. The business specialise in chilled water and heat pump systems, equipment, application, service, and maintenance. They also provide a comprehensive service onall air conditioning systems including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units. They work with a multitude of sectors including; Data Centres, Universitys Hospitals, MOD, Industrial Process Manufacturing, Multi-Tenant LandlordOwned Buildings, Small Private Businesses, Schools and Retail.This client is currently looking to recruit for a Maintenance Administrator to join their busy team. The role although based in the office, will involve assisting the 45+ field engineers across Wales, Bristol, Reading and the Midlands. The Maintenance Administrator plays a vital role within the operation. If successful, you will provide administrative and office support for multiple air conditioning service contracts.Salary and Benefits

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receiving and coordinating customer enquiries via telephone and email correspondence
  • Scheduling engineers and managing site call outs - diary planning and updates
  • Recording all enquiries, jobs, and quotations within spreadsheet format
  • Processing engineer report sheets
  • Invoicing works on completion
  • Compiling parts quotations following recommendations from engineers
  • Maintain FGas refrigerant registers (full training will be given)
  • Accurately maintaining and updating Excel/google spread sheets
  • Raising purchase orders and ordering parts via Sage
  • Taking deliveries and organising parts
  • Renewing customer maintenance contracts
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required
Skills and Attributes Required
  • Efficient computer skills
  • Competent in using all Microsoft Office applications; especially Outlook and Microsoft Excel
  • Confident and helpful telephone manner
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Able to prioritise workload
  • Excellent at multitasking
  • Comfortable working within a small office team of approximately 5 persons
  • Able to work independently, keeping on top of individual workload
