Job Description

PMP Recruitment is hiring full-time Machine operatives to join the team at largest designer and in-house manufacturer of Gift Wrap and Christmas Crackers, CF82 7SS! We have a number of vacancies to start immediately!Our client serves many of the best-known retailers throughout the UK and beyond and we are looking for hard working people to join their production team.Pay rate:

  • £10p/h increasing to £11.53p/h after 12 weeks
    • Shift times:
  • Rotation of 12hr shifts including Days (7am-7pm) and Nights (7pm-7am) and every other weekend
    • Duties involve
  • Responsible for running conversion machine
  • Maintain high quality standard
  • Record production data using IT system
  • Dealing with line stoppages
  • Following strict guidelines and procedures
  • Lifting loads
  • Transporting goods through different areas of the factory
  • Fast paced packing off the end of machines
  • Reporting to shift managers and production managers
  • Working toward strict targets
  • Advise maintenance of machine issue/problems
    • Skills Required:
  • Machine Operating experience
  • IT Literate (Experience using MMS is advantageous)
  • Good degree of dexterity in order to maintain speed of production line
  • Ability to work from instructions
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work toward targets
  • Good mathematical knowledge
  • Full training is provided for the role
