Job Description

About The RoleInternal Account Executive. The purpose of the role:Workingwithin the Hygiene division Key& MajorAccounts teamsprovidingoffice-basedsalessupport to customers and the Key& Majorteam- dealingwith sales enquiries and opportunities forthe designatedportfolio of customers.Consistentlymeetingpersonalobjectivesand delivering individual and teamperiodic / quarterly / yearly sales targets.Key Tasks:Dealing with Sales Enquiries:

  • Ensure all customer enquiries are responded to within agreed timescale.
  • Delivering the appropriate service level for the Key/Major clients.
  • Illustrate and quote customer requests.
  • Recording and processing enquiries within the business sales portal.
  • Identify and establish upselling opportunities where possible and relevant.
  • Coordinate, progress and communicate installation with customers where relevant.
Conducting Outbound Sales/Tele survey and Courtesy calls:
  • Conduct courtesy and information gathering project calls as required and as required and as directed by the Key Accounts Teams
Data Reporting:
  • Collate all relevant detail and documents to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate database of business generated and corresponding business movements.
  • Utilise and update sales portal to manage sales.
  • Record the results of any courtesy call project accurately in the required format.
Teamwork:
  • Work with and support internal colleagues to ensure team sales targets are met and projects are delivered, accurately and on time.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
  • IT Skills – Outlook, Excel, Word, CRM.
  • Experience of selling in a Business to a Customer/Business to Business environment delivering on business and customer expectations.
  • Organisation & Prioritisation – time management prioritising workload in a pressurised environment delivering on a business and customer expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Adaptability & Flexibility – adapting to different demands and situations.
  • Customer Focused – ability to put the customer first, understand their requirements and build solid business relationships.
  • Relationship building – ability to build on and develop relationships within the business and our customers.
  • Communication – excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sales Focus – ability to identify confidently explore and close on selling opportunities.
