Job Description

Graduate sales executive required to join a global manufacturing company that has been trading for over 70 years. The company has ambitious plans to increase its turnover by 150% in the next 8 years and there is a good opportunity to increase yoursalary through your performance in the role.You will work closely with the sales manager as part of a team that is responsible for dealing with overseas customers, mainly in Scandinavia, using a consultative approach to identify new leads and to account manage existing customers to increase revenuefor the business. There will also be the opportunity to travel internationally, usually once a quarter for a few days at a time.Graduate sales executive responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Communicating a detailed understanding of a portfolio of technical products in conversations with customers
  • Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
  • Identifying new key accounts for the business
  • Managing complex negotiations with customers
  • Building rapport and establishing long-term relationships with customers
  • Supporting and liaising with sales agents to secure sales in European territories
  • Taking a proactive approach to all sales activity
  • Collaborating with other members of the sales team and/or other departments to secure projects
  • Thoroughly document quotations and customer feedback/updates on CRM systems
  • Identifying market opportunities and weaknesses to stimulate targeted marketing activity
  • Travelling as required to visit with customers for account management/new business development purposes
To apply for the graduate sales executive position, you will need:
  • A degree-level qualification (ideally in a subject such as Business Studies, International Business, etc.)
  • Experience in a sales or customer service-focused role (part-time during studies, via an industrial placement or post-graduation)
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written formats
  • Strong IT skills (experience with CRM systems is desirable)
  • A full drivers license and the ability to travel overseas on occasion
