Director of Scouts Cymru Yolk Recruitment Public Sector and Not-for-Profit is supporting Scouts Cymru to find a Director to work in close partnership with senior volunteers, to deliver the strategy in Wales and lead the strategic and operational functioning of the organisation.The Director will lead the way in transforming how the organisation delivers support to the movement and improves the experience of young people and volunteers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a senior leadership role, andwill possess exceptional communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.This is a permanent position based at Scouts Cymru Headquarters, Caerphilly, with flexibility and hybrid working.This role has funding that is secured for 2 years minimum, future years dependant on securing additional funding and success while in the role.What you will be doing as Director of Scouts Cymru:As the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the strategic programs of work, monitoring progress, designing mechanisms and metrics for assessing progress, delivery and success. You will also have lead responsibility for culturechange, equality, diversity and inclusion, fundraising and strategic risk in ScoutsCymru. Reporting to the Chair of the Board of Trustees and the Chief Commissioner, the Director will work closely with them with curiosity and the ambition of doing their bestfor young people in Wales.
