We are looking for someone who is keen to develop customerservice skills in a contact centre as a Customer Service Apprentice, to form a career here at our Head Office in Caerphilly. We need someone with a passion for serving customers – a great communicator who enjoys talking withcustomers and resolving enquiries.Within our contact centre in Caerphilly we continue to prioritise customer satisfaction and help our teams to develop the knowledge and skills to give great service. Fixing our customers issues is our priority – the key is to make our customers feel valuedand to show that we have customers at the heart of everything that we do.Are you a great communicator that can absorb and apply information quickly If yes, you’re just the kind of person we’re looking for - and if you are travelling to work at our Caerphilly office, we have a free on-site car park that will save you a fortune.Your role as a Customer Service Apprentice at phs Group, and what you’ll need:

  • You’ll be talking to our customers every day on our contact centres so will need to be clear, confident, polite, and resilient when it comes to dealing with any difficult queries
  • You’ll need to have strong communication skills - we’re looking for someone who can have great conversations by phone and e-mail.
  • Paying attention to detail, organisational skills and accurately following guidelines are vital requirements for this position.
  • Basic computer skills are really important too, and we’ll help you learn the rest.
  • Most important for us is a can-do attitude, someone who really cares about the work they do for customers and can focus without becoming distracted from the task in hand.
  • We have times when it can get busy so it’s important that applicants are willing to learn, happy to adapt to change and are able to switch between tasks if required.
