We are recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Lead who will actively promote a Continuous Improvement culture throughout the business, acting as a key driver of change within the business. You will identify & deliver Continuous Improvement initiatives workingalongside the managers and ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures to increase QSHE, productivity, efficiency, and cost savings.Key Responsibilities Lead the discussion with key stakeholders to plan and manage projects, assign project sponsors and ensure potential benefits are captured.Influence and coach a team without an implicit reporting structure.Facilitate effective solutions ensuring all involved are informed and working together to deliver and achieve results.Develop and share deployment plans across the organisation to ensure adherence.Ensure appropriate processes are in place to select, train, develop and utilise resources.Encourage and promote a continuous learning environment.Communicate standards and guidelines across the organisation.Provide strategic direction to develop a culture focus on organisation values.Conduct detailed project reviews to ensure appropriate tools and techniques are applied.Monitor and validate business processes to support new product development and identify and implement improvements.Design and develop assembly jigs and fixtures.Advise and provide support to Quality and Service Departments on technical and manufacturing issues.Ensure that all activities are carried out within the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act., PUWER etc. and company policies and procedures are adhered to.The person:An independent thinker, able to take an assertive stance to enforce the key requirements of quality and the customer service.A leader with a focus towards implementing change.Ability to analyse impact and assess priorities.To lead and participate in multiple multi-disciplined teams through the development & introduction of new business systems /processes.Plan the projects workload and schedule the necessary resource within the budgetary and time constraints.Familiarity with Microsoft Office productsQualificationsQualified to degree level or equivalent in an engineering-based discipline with production/manufacturing engineering experience.Experience with implementing lean and continuous improvement methodologies.Salary on application
