Job Description

Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of CNC Operators within the Caerphilly area to join our clients manufacturing plant.These roles are full time, ongoing working for a global manufacturing company, who offer a fantastic working environment, culture and are very much an employer of choice within the local area.Hours of work:Working a three shift pattern days, afternoons & nights Monday-Friday.Duties:

  • Use of CNC machinery working to production KPIs/targets
  • Operating industrial machinery, which can include a hydraulic press, grinder and brake press.
  • Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
  • Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds
  • Translates the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production
  • Inspecting workflows to ensure that technical and quality standards are met
  • Devising a work plan to efficiently carry out daily machining
The desired candidates will have:
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
  • Previous relevant CNC experience
  • Knowledge of health and safety in the work place
