Job Description

At Plas Hyfyd we support older people and people with physical disabilities to live independent lives in their own homes by providing 24 hour on-site domiciliary care. We have a total of 49 self-contained flats and fantastic facilities including communallounges, a restaurant, laundry, private gardens and a library for residents to enjoy.Whats Great About the RoleAs a Pobl Difference Maker you really are part of something special where you and your opinions matter.   • Supporting individuals with their individual needs, including: providing support for individuals with physical disabilities or dementia/memory loss.
  • Supporting with hobbies and activities
  • Escorting people to appointments
  • Administrating medication
  • Provide personal care
  • Meal preparation
  • Keeping precise records
A background of working with people with age related physical or mental health needs is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided.Key Information These posts are for either 16 or 20 hours per week, we also have relief available- check it out if that would suit your lifestyle better.We are a team of 19 colleagues so there will always be support at hand from the team.There are various shifts at Plas Hyfryd, from early morning to lates and sleep ins.The team are on a 2 weekly rota including mornings, evenings and every other weekend. These are subject to change to meet the need of the individuals we support.Plas Hyfryd is situated in Caerphilly with good access to bus links.Pobl Benefits
