Job Description

At Cefn Glas we support older people and people with physical disabilities to live independent lives in their own homes by providing 24 hour on-site domiciliary care. We have a total of 42 self-contained flats and fantastic facilities including communallounges, a restaurant, laundry, private gardens and a library for residents to enjoy.Pobl means People and people really are at the heart of everything we do.   • Supporting individuals with their individual needs, including: providing support for individuals with physical disabilities or dementia/memory loss.
  • Supporting with hobbies and activities
  • Escorting people to appointments
  • Administrating medication
  • Provide personal care
  • Meal preparation
  • Keeping precise records
A background of working with people with age related physical or mental health needs is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior colleagues and management is provided.Key Information This post is for 16 hours per week*This post carries an Occupational Requirement exception under the Equality Act 2010 and is open to females only.We are a team of 19 personnel so there will always be support at hand from the team.There are various shifts at Cefn Glas, from early morning to lates and sleep ins.2 weekly rota including mornings, evenings and every other weekend.
