About the roleAs a Business Development Finance Analyst for the Recycling Division of DS Smith, you will be providing financial support to our Account Managers and Business Development Managers, through the explanation, analysis and modelling of financial performance. Within the role, you will combine commercial and financial skills and experience, to best support the business in driving growth and managing fibre supply, ensuring that we remain profitable.You will be expected to support bid and proposal meetings, by preparing cost models and supporting business case preparation through robust and accurate financial analysis. We want you to fully understand the business needs, helping to develop our strategy for new business, mill and depot supply. The role will see you attending meetings with potential clients and suppliers, and liaising closely with our sales, supply chain and finance business partner teams to get correct pricing and costings for bids.We want you to prepare and review monthly forecasts and annual budgets, to report on financial performance, variance trends and key performance indicators, and be able to present the information to senior management at planning meetings. You will assist with developing a true procurement type approach to sourcing fibre in line with our targets, developing financial modelling and tracking tools to measure the performance of our suppliers.About you Minimum requirements:
