About the roleA great opportunity has become available for a Banking & Cashier Senior to join our team at DS Smith Business Services in Caerphilly to assist in the delivery of world class accounting and reporting services to respective UK businesses.You will be responsible for managing a team of cashier and banking accounts assistants, ensuring the prompt identification and allocation of cash receipts, keeping unidentified and unallocated cash at the minimum possible level. You will be responsible forensuring bank payments are processed and recorded accurately and in adherence with Service Level Agreements, bank reconciliations are completed on a timely basis and will be the primary contact with Group Treasury.Within this role you will be managing a team responsible for maintaining a high-quality accounts receivable ledger through the prompt identification and allocation of cash receipts in the system. We will also ask you to be responsible for managing the completionof daily general ledger bank postings and weekly bank reconciliations, as well as the processing of Banking and Treasury payments through the Groups Treasury Management System.This role will be hands on and will require involvement in daily processing and reconciliation activities, as well as providing cover for other operations when necessary.About youMinimum Requirements
