Hours per week: Support Worker (x 2) : 7 hours (with the possibility of extra hours)Bank Support Worker : As and when required, weekdays and weekendsWorking Pattern: (Support Worker only) Wednesday 5pm - 8pm / Saturday 2pm - 6pm (A degree of flexibility will be required)Pay: Weekday/Weekends/Bank Holidays = £10.45At Case Management Cymru we provide highly professional, bespoke case management to adults and children with a range of life-changing conditions/injuries. We pride ourselves on delivering a specialist service that recognises the uniquenessof every client; all with very different aspirations and challenges.Our client is a 16-year old boy with cerebral palsy, a visual impairment and epilepsy who lives at home with his parents and younger brother and attends a school for children with additional needs. You will encourage and support our client to access leisurefacilities, activities, and other opportunities available such as bowling, outings, and local events.We are looking for two flexible, patient, reliable individuals with a good sense of humour, an ability to expect the unexpected and to think outside the box. Having excellent communication skills and maintaining a consistent and proactive approach, you willbe working on a 2:1 basis providing respite in the clients own home. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, support therapy input and plans as directed, promote independence, and help the client to form appropriate new relationships to reach his fullpotential.We are also looking for another person to be available for bank work to cover sickness and annual leave.Whilst experience in this area of work is preferred, it is not essential as a full induction and training will be provided.Closing date: 25th May 2022(Please note - we reserve the right to close the advert earlier if we receive a high volume of suitable applicants)Interview date: To be confirmedThis role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS check.
