Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Buxton, SK17 7JD. This is an opportunity to work as a Production Operative for the No1 bottled water company in the world.We are looking for self-motivated and committed individuals to join this exciting team where long term work is available. There is the opportunity to progress to a permanent role for those who demonstrate a good fit with the organisation.As a Production Operative, you will be paid £11.19p/h increasing to £12.52p/h after working 12 consecutive weeks.Your typical shifts as a Production Operative will be:You will be working 12hr shifts, 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts (4 on 4 off shift pattern)Your role as a Production Operative:

Reporting to the Shift Manager
Monitor and operate equipment, identifying and responding to faults as they occur
You will be responsible for the safe & efficient running of production lines, reducing lost production time by keeping repairs and breakdowns to a minimum
You will have a logical approach to your duties and be able to follow processes delivering compliance in safety, quality, cost and delivery
You will need a practical approach to your work, along with a great can-do attitude
It is essential that you have the ability to work as part of a team and be competent in problem-solving skills
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferable but not essential - role-specific, on the job training will be provided.
