Job Description

Based in Bury, our client is forward-thinking andoffers flexible working hours, as well as a hybrid working structure with just 2 days a week in the office.Having experienced an incredible surge in demand over the past few years, our client can now boast to having a global customer base and an ambitious growth plan for the future.DescriptionThe key responsibilities for this unique and rare opportunity to join a global business in north Manchester as a Systems Management Accountant are as follows:
  • Undertake a lead role in the implementation of a new payroll system and the new finance and costing system
  • Responsible for the management, improvement and integrity of the Finance, Payroll, Costing and Time and attendance systems
  • Develop the business reporting requirements using ODBC and Power BI
  • Project Management of improvements and changes to the Finance, Payroll, Costing and Time and attendance systems
  • Working with the finance team to improve processes
  • Responsible for issuing monthly contract costs and cost report along with adhoc reporting
Profile
  • Hardworking, capable of a hands on approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adaptable and able to instigate change as required
  • Self-motivated
  • Capable of providing strong leadership/leading by example
  • Good attention to detail
  • Will have payroll experience and strong system & report writing skills
  • Ideally have contract / construction industry experience
  • Management accounting and financial control essential
