Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for a new positionAre you experienced in delivering Complex Clinical CareApollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to care for a young boy with complex care needs.We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.Our service user is a lovely young boy in his early teens who lives with his family in Bury.He has highly complex care needs and requires a care team to support him 24/7. Therefore, we require individuals who are reliable and can commit to his continuous care on a long term, ongoing basis.He can be very cheeky and has a brilliant sense of humour so it is important that you enjoy lots of laughs and have an outgoing, bubbly personality.During the week he attends school and you will be accompanying him within his educational setting and participating in his activities and lessons.When at home you will interact and engage in the things he enjoys such as watching TV, playing games on his iPad and generally having lots of fun.Throughout the night you will support with all aspects of his bedtime routine and observe and monitor him whilst he sleeps, ensuring his wellbeing and clinical interventions are always managed appropriately.We provide an extensive training programme for all his clinical needs which is led by our highly skilled Registered Nurses however, for this role we do require applicants to evidence some experience in delivering complex care.Training will be delivered during day hours, for which you must be available.You must have a genuine interest in working with children and be dedicated and passionate about helping him to fulfil and achieve his life goals.Please note, applicants must hold a UK Driving Licence and be comfortable driving an adapted vehicle (manual).Essential Experience Required
