Software Tester - Bury - £25,000 - £32,000 + Flexible working and Progression schemeAn award winning company in Bury is seeking a software tester to join their team! They are constantly innovating and pushing boundaries in the tech space.If you want to be part of a team where you have a real input into driving the testing stratergy- this role is for you!Overview of the rolelooking for a Software Tester to compliment the internal team of developers. This role will support the Application Development team testing new developments and enhancements to existing software.This is an exciting time to join the Technology Department as they strive to revolutionise the Technology systems. The successful candidate will play an integral part in providing the business with information working with internal stakeholders and external partners to produce world class solutions to support the future growth of the business.Your Responsibilities

  • Working with software developers and project support teams
  • Identifying business requirements
  • Stress, performance, functional and scalability testing
  • Writing and executing test scripts, running manual and automated tests
  • Testing in different environments including web and mobile
  • Working towards departmental and project deadlines
  • Quality assurance
  • Providing objective feedback to software development project teams
  • Designing tests to mitigate risk
  • Presenting findings to software development and business user teams
  • Travelling to different project sites
