Job Description

My client is seeking a passionate Senior Indirect Buyer for a critical role within our Procurement & Supply Chain department.Client DetailsThis company is a sizable player in the FMCG sector. With a substantial workforce and global operations, they consistently deliver while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability and ethical practices.Description

  • Oversee and manage procurement activities across various categories.
  • Looking after all of the indirect spend for the UK business
  • Working with colleagues overseas
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and meet business needs.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure value for money.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage performance.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.
ProfileA successful Senior Indirect Buyer should have:
  • Proven experience in procurement within the FMCG OR manufacturing industry (Ideally)
  • Indirect procurement experience (essential)
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
