KS3/4 SEMH Teaching AssistantFULL TIME, ASAP UNTIL JULY 2024Prospero Teaching is looking for an SEMH Mentor to take a position at their school, set in a purpose built school in Bury. This school is a specialist provision for young people who need that little extra support and guidance, due to SEMH needs. Studentsat this school can pose challenges but staff who are calm, patient, resilient and caring will make huge differences in this setting.We have worked with this group of schools for several years now and they have a particular interest in securing the services of an enthusiastic graduate for this particular position. There is lots of training available for the successful position and ourSLT run regular CPD for all staff. This role would be ideal for someone considering teacher training for September 2023. This role would also suit an experienced SEMH support worker looking for a role inside a school with purpose built therapy rooms, sensorygardens and visits from therapy dogs too!Standards are high and the young people in the school are supported from day one with a uniform approach by teachers and support staff, and a calm, positive environment is noticed from the moment you enter the school.
