Job Description

We want you to enjoycoming to work, have fun with us and to provide great customer service all at the same time.Who are we looking forThe Mailing Room has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Executive to join our well-established Consumables division.As a Sales Executive your day-to-day activities are varied; with this role assertively maintaining high standards and in-depth product knowledge through continuous training and high-quality customer satisfaction goals. Our Sales Executives achieve salestargets, deliver The Mailing Rooms values, and manage strong customer rapport, satisfaction, and retention.Our commitment to youWere bringing together a team of talented, passionate, customer-centric people with a wide range of skills, experience, and expertise. Our commitment to you is clear, we will surround you with the right tools and people to help you do what you do best.An overview of the role: This role will require strong interpersonal skills, managing relationships effectively with our existing customer base. Youll be working within a close-knit, friendly, and passionate Consumables team, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering a minimum of 50 calls per day by contacting our existing customer base to sell ancillary products, such as Ink and labels.
  • Taking ownership for end-to-end process, from receipt of customer order through to supply and invoicing.
  • Maintaining our bespoke Customer Relationship Management system with updates and all associated logs to ensure accurate reporting activity.
  • The ability to identify upsell opportunities to work in collaboration with the Sales teams on defining strategies to increase customer consumable spend.
  • Working towards rewarding monthly targets and expectations by providing a first-class experience to our internal and external customers
  • Support and maintain The Mailing Room Values
Who would be the right fitThis role would suit someone who is confident in their own abilities and has previous experience in a similar position, ideally with 2 years+ within a B2B sales environment. It would be an ideal role for someone who is looking to progress their career andhas:
  • An upbeat, positive personality, that can focus on customer service and sales.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve set KPIs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, being charismatic over the phone and able to further the companys reputation especially with new clients.
  • High standard of literacy, numeracy, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems
  • High level of integrity & trust
  • Able to work collaboratively to resolve queries to assist increasing employee and interdepartmental engagement and customer satisfaction
