Job Description

Role: Purchase Ledger Clerk / Finance Assistant Location: Ramsbottom Salary: £20,000We are working exclusively with a well-known and established organisation based in Ramsbottom. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a strong purchase ledger background who is looking for a friendly and down to earth office environment. Your role will ensure that the company remains a market leader through the smooth running of the accounts department.Ideal Skills / Profile:

  • Knowledge of Sage systems
    • We are looking for a reliable purchase ledger clerk with confidence in handling high invoice volumes, responsibilities include:
  • Purchase ledger management
  • Inputting of invoices
  • Reconciliations / handling of any client queries
  • Payment runs with the online banking
  • Log all invoices and check payment dates are in place
  • Assisting with the monthly close off of the ledger
    • This role is office based within the core hours of 9-5, free parking is provided and public transport links are located close by.
