Operations Manager - Kitchen Doors & AccessoriesJob Title: Operations Manager - Kitchen Doors & AccessoriesIndustry Sector: Kitchens, Kitchen Surfaces, Kitchen Doors, Kitchen Cabinets, Worktops, Appliances, Kitchen Appliances, KBB, Kitchen Accessories, Kitchen Retailers, KBB Retailers, Operations Manager, Logistics, Warehouse, ManufacturerLocation: Bury or surrounding areasRemuneration: £45,000 - £55,000Benefits: Full Benefits PackageThe role of the Operations Manager - Kitchen Doors & Accessories will involve:

  • Operations manager position dealing with a high end quality range of distributed kitchen doors & components
  • Oversee the operations and management for production, warehousing and distribution
  • Implementing strategies to develop areas of productivity, purchasing and logistics, to ensure that company targets are met
  • Ensuring all process and procedures are in place to support overall growth in the business
  • Managing staff selection, performance, development and training process to ensure team competencies and capabilities to meet targets
  • Preparing and controlling budgets and schedules for operations
  • Promote and ensure H&S procedures are adhered to across the business
  • Reporting directly into the Directors
The ideal applicant will be Operations Manager - Kitchen Doors & Accessories with:
  • Must have experience within an Operations Manager role, ideally within the KBB market sector
  • Demonstrable ability to execute functional business plans
  • The ability to resolve complex business problems
  • Ideally will have experience working for a manufacturer
  • Ideally will be degree level educated in Operations, Business, Management etc
  • Must be familiar with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen & 5S
  • Must have a high level of commercial and financial acumen
  • Must have extensive man management experience
  • Longevity in previous jobs, or excellent reasons for quick career moves
  • Must have excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
  • Organised, dynamic and self-motivated
