Join our team!Tradewind are recruiting for a Maths Teacher!Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable & resilient Maths Teacher to deliver KS2 Maths to secondary aged pupils at an alternative provision in the Bury area.* Primary trained teachers also considered due to attainment levels of students.The RoleMaths Teacher for secondary aged pupils with SEMH needs, working at KS2 level.Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm.Start ASAP, long term, expected to continue until at least July 24.Excellent pay up to £200/day depending on experience.Paid PAYE via Tradewind. We dont use umbrella companies.RequirementsYou will need a positive confident classroom management skills.Teacher must be able to differentiate lessons to the differing needs & levels of students.Students will be of mixed ability, age and backgrounds.Managing challenging behaviour, engaging, motivating & building strong relationships with pupils.Collaborating with TAs, school management, parents and outside professionals.The SchoolSecondary Alternative Education Provision in the Bury area for children aged 11-16.All students have an EHCP for Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs, SEMH.Class sizes of no more than 8 pupils including TA support.Students academic attainment is at lower levels than expected for their age.Experienced & supportive management.Collaborative teamwork atmosphere.Focus on safety, inclusion and holistic outcomes for students that prepare them for the next stage in their life.Easily accessible by car, bus.Also 2 minutes walk from metrolink stop!To join us and be successful in this Bury Maths Teacher role, you will need to:

• Hold QTS Status or QTLS.
• Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to pay for a new one).
• Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
• Minimum of two professional references checks.
• Provide a CV with full education & work.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
