Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bury College as a Lecturer in Engineering. We are looking for individuals who want to be part of a team focused on creating the next generation of engineers and manufacturing leaders.We are looking for candidates who are able to teach across a range of disciplines such as:

  • Mechanical Engineering Principles
  • CNC Programming/Machining
  • Fabrication and Welding
  • Product sheet metal fabrications
  • Maintenance Engineering
  • Engineering Science and CAD
  • Have a teaching qualification or working towards
  • Have a desire to assist learners to achieve their career and learning aspirations
  • Have a clear proactive approach to planning, organising and able to prioritise workload
The successful candidate will be working within our new state-of-the-art engineering facility where our students can learn in both classroom and workshop environments. They will be required to deliver exceptional teaching and be able to demonstrate a backgroundof inclusive and challenging teaching strategies.We are a friendly, forward-looking college where staff are valued and supported to achieve their potential.
