Job Description

Jensten Group are continuing to grow and invest in people technology and platforms to enable us to meet our ambitious targets. To facilitate this growth we are now looking for a motivated & experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the Jensten Group.Reporting to the IT Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organizations IT infrastructure. Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current infrastructure needs and plan for future requirements.
  • Develop infrastructure solutions that align with business goals and industry best practices.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and networking components.
  • Identify and resolve infrastructure issues, including hardware, software, and network-related problems.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Create comprehensive migration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency during the migration process.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure to identify compatibility and performance considerations for migration.
About youAs our Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll have a strong teamwork ethic, communication, and collaborative skills with a keen eye for detail. Also having strong technical skills, you’ll work closely with other IT professionals, management, and variousstakeholders to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our infrastructure. You’ll also be or have:
  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of server and network hardware, operating systems, and virtualization technologies.
  • Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Expertise in security best practices and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working within an ITIL framework
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting (e.g., Power Automate, PowerShell) (desirable)
  • Industry certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) (desirable)
  • ITIL V3 Foundation or higher qualification (desirable)
