Job Description

Our client has a fantastic trading history that stems back many years. They still uphold the traditional values of a family run business and put their customers at the heart of everything they do.This an outstanding opportunity for a Head of Commercial Growth to join this market leading organisation. The business is performing well, especially during the Covid Pandemic, and are focused on further cementing their commercial performance market position and increasing their market share.Responsibilities Include

  • Ultimate responsibility for all sales team members and associated managers
  • Identification, design and implementation of approved sales initiatives and process improvements
  • Achieving sales targets agreed with Directors
  • Coaching and development of the sales management team
  • Performance management of the team
  • Lead all sales revenue streams
  • Performance reporting for each sales channel
  • Adhoc reporting as and when required
  • Attending off site meetings and presenting as and when required
  • Identification of I.T development needs for the sales department and ownership thereof
  • Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Candidates will be required to use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and purpose-built, in-house systems on a daily basis and therefore must have experience using each of these programs (with the exception of any in-house systems).
  • Preferred Skills
  • Energy supplier experience advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence to challenge the status-quo, teams and their members
  • Previous management experience
  • The ability to effectively self-manage competing priorities, workloads and deadlines in a challenging environment.
  • The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach when presented with problems.
