Job Description

Working within the private label team at head office. you will be part of a busy design and development office and interact with external departments and businesses across the Group.Client DetailsA leading Multi-Channel retailer in the Greater Manchester area. The business has a strong store estate and sells branded as well as own branded apparel across a number of different categories. The business is also well known for internal progression & development.Description

  • Cross-costing/benchmarking with new suppliers on Private Label product, in new or existing countries, offering value to the supply base.
  • Sampling/developing product in new potential sources to hand over to product developers.
  • Understanding the Private Label sourcing strategy and how to contribute.
  • KPI reports to analyse supplier performance and highlight any gaps.
  • Monitor & analyse weekly faulty returns report to highlight any potential quality issues and liaise with Developers.
  • Work with the sourcing manager on the product claims process and onward sale/disposal of faulty rejected stock.
  • Prepare for and attend private label last season reviews with the buying teams.
  • Manage the tracking of sustainable / recycled material Certificates, ensuring all sustainable product is certified within the private label offering.
  • Take ownership of tracking/management of the Better Cotton Platform and our Better Cotton Usage within the wider group.
  • Run analysis on our sustainable materials usage within own brand and the wider group.
  • Perform analysis on our cotton usage within own brand product offering.
  • Involvement in the WRAP Textiles 2030 project, gathering & uploading data in the calculation tool.
  • Research and propose future improvement actions on sustainability initiatives.
  • Provide information and support to the product development teams to deliver sustainable objectives within the WRAP T2030 working groups.
Profile
  • Degree in Sustainability, fashion, textiles, buying & merchandising or similar
  • Strong Administration skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
