General Practice Surveyor 12-month fixed term contract Full time - 35 hoursOffice based 5 days a week - Bury Salary - £37,413 - £43,345 depending on experienceWe are looking for an experienced RICS qualified surveyor to join a superb organisation based in Bury, on a 12 months fixed term contract. The main purpose of the role is to support the work of the Director of Land and Property Services in providing valuationand other services for residential, land and development schemes within the organisation.Key tasks; Support the Director of Land and Property Services in the valuation, disposal and acquisition of property relating to the housing of the organisation Provide insurance reinstatement valuations Advise and assist with rental properties, estate agents, landlords and tenants across the organisation Organise the procurement/termination of rental properties for curates and temporary accommodation Work with the Buildings Officer to develop reports to Property Committee, to enable informed decisions to be taken Prepare and review existing and new tenancy lease agreements for residential and non-residential properties Represent the organisation when necessary, in attending meetings with stakeholders, on matters concerned with properties and land Contribute to procurement exercises Manage contracts with suppliers Liaise with the Governance Team in relation to closed and closing organisationsExperience required; Essential - RICS qualified surveyor in commercial property, valuation or residential property Demonstrable experience of carrying out valuations and undertaking property surveys Come from a General Practice background Experience of working within complex legal constraints Experience of interacting with local authorities and other public bodiesBenefits; 22 days annual leave per year rising to 25 days after 12 months service, in addition to bank holidays and 3 additional days Pension availablePlease be aware this advert will remain open until the vacancy has been filled.
