Job Description

EYFS Teaching Assistant - BuryThe Position:A 2-form entry primary school in Prestwich, Bury are looking to recruit an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in the Reception class. The position is to start in September and will continue until July 2023, with a possible contract offered to theright candidate.Details of the role are as follows:This school are seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in a Reception class. You will be supported by the EYFS team to run small groups of intervention for Maths and English. You will be required to have some knowledge of phonics and a good understandingof the Early Years curriculum.To be successful in this EYFS role, you will need to:

  • Have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Have recent relevant experience working in a Primary School or working with children
  • Be available on a full-time basis for the full academic year
  • Already have or be happy to apply for an enhanced DBS disclosure.
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
