Job Description

Are you an Estimator with proven experienced within a M&E environment, or better still do you have experience within the sprinkler industryThis M&E contractor are accredited to the highest level and lead the way in the design, installation and maintenance of complex fire suppression solutions but its not just about the job, its about the people too and this people centric business know howto look after their people with superb working conditions; excellent salaries (plus car and laptop); and a benefits package which includes 10% bonus; cash plan healthcare; pension and flexible / hybrid working.So, if you have proven estimating experience within an M&E / sprinkler environment together with a working knowledge of BSEN12845 LPC, FM and NFPA together with confident IT skills, you can expect a salary of up to £48,000 together with excellent benefitsand a superb company culture.The Job:Working within the Project Design Team youll be involved in a range of projects ranging in value from £25,000 to £4m, duties will include:

  • The delivery of complex proposals in line with BSEN12845 LPC and NFPA
  • Completion of site surveys
  • Review sales enquires providing detailed competitive tenders
  • Manage supplier quotes / costs
  • Arrange and attend relevant customer meetings
  • Identify project risk
  • Maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers and suppliers
What Skills do I needYoull already be working as a Proposals / Estimating Engineer within an M&E / Sprinkler environment, youll also need:
  • A good understanding of BSEN12845 LPC, FM and NFPA
  • Experience in large (warehouse / distribution centre) environments preferred
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office; AutoCAD and Canute
  • First class communication skills
Whats the Pay and BenefitsThere is a salary of up to £48,000 plus both car and laptop. They offer a great benefits package too which includes; 10% bonus; cash plan healthcare and pension.
