Electrical / Mechanical AssemblerDue to ongoing expansion and growth, Hillstone Loadbanks’ are recruiting for Electrical/ Mechanical Assemblers working in their UK production workshops. Embarking on a major project of investment in our people’s training and development, this is a great time to join us.Working a shift pattern from 8am-5pm with regular breaks Monday to Friday, the Hillstone factories are located close by and near the centre of Bury, Greater Manchester. Roles exist for both an experienced Electrical/ Mechanical Assembler, and also those wishing to enter the industry without experience. We would like to attract people who have an interest in developing a long term career with us.As part of a larger production team, you will assemble electrical equipment to produce load banks and associated equipment. Your main duties will include: Connecting component parts to circuits using rivets, bolts and soldering equipment. Simple testing of assembled products Using multiple assembly tools to mount components onto panels Carrying out all necessary cleaning and tidying dutiesTo be successful in this role of Electrical/ Mechanical Assembler you’ll need to: Be analytical and precise Take initiative Read and accurately interpret provided design & layouts.
