Job Description

You the EDI & Master Data Administrator will be responsible for securing and managing product data, ensuring accuracy and availability to downstream systems and users.Client DetailsA leading Multi-Channel retailer in the Bury area. They are looking to grow their Merchandising solutions team as they are going through a period of growthDescription

  • To support the delivery of Merchandising projects that make use of product data
  • To liaise with suppliers to acquire product data for use by product teams and systems
  • To supporttheEDI programme e.g.:
  • ensure accurate product data is available
  • provide size mapping of supplier data
  • set up GLN codes
  • resolve barcode issues
  • To supportthePimberly programme e.g.:
  • Onboard product data for use by Merchandising teams
  • Set up and manage feeds and channels as required
  • Set up automated workflows
  • Set up and manage data sets
  • To support product attribution for use by functions and systems across the business
  • To support reporting requirements as required by Merchandising projects
  • To contribute to the best practice and training of systems and processes related to Merchandising projects
  • Profile
  • Organised, methodical and logical approach with attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Experience in a Merchandising role is desirable though not essential
  • Experience of EDI and data systems is desirable though not essential
  • T. literate
  • Good understanding of how systems and processes link together across an organisation
  • Good communication and teamwork skills and a willingness to create and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and suppliers
  • Business awareness and understanding of business requirements
  • A willingness to keep up to date with developments in technology
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
