Job Description

Ecommerce AssistantPermanent - Full time - 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri)Bury£21,000 - £24,000About the companyAdecco Boltons client is an extremely successful ecommerce business selling directly to consumers in the UK and International Marketplaces. A market leader in cycling, triathlon and running products, supplying to 12 different countries and has experiencedsteady growth across our multiple sales channels in recent years. The business is now ready to move forward with ambitious plans to grow its market share in the UK and overseas. To maximise the opportunities this provides, we are seeking to appoint a professionalrecruit to fulfil the role of Ecommerce Assistant.The roleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with experience of working within an Ecommerce business who also has a creative skillset to assist with the design of artwork to support Ecommerce and Marketing departments activities. The successfulcandidate will be assisting the Marketing & Product Manager to implement listings across multiple marketplaces in our clients home and international market.If you are driven to succeed, this is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join a market leader in the sports industry.Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure our branded products are listed and optimised to the highest standards, conforming to the standards and regulations of each marketplace.
  • Assist with launching and managing products on Amazon, eBay, Shopify and other targeted marketplaces worldwide.
  • Experience creating written content and imagery stock
  • Work in accordance with the Companys pre-defined requirements to ensure a consistent brand identity across all sales channels.
  • Create digital assets such as web banners and infographics to feature on marketplaces which will enhance the Brands visibility and optimise sales.
  • Monitor product listings alongside the Marketing & Product Manager to help produce reports to measure sales performance and make recommendations for change.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to ensure our content is up with industry trends.
  • Provide support and assistance to customers enquiring using our helpdesk systems
The individual
  • Educated to A-Level standard, you will have at least 1 year experience within a similar function.
  • Extensive experience of working on Amazon Seller Central plus knowledge of other ecommerce platforms such as eBay Seller Hub and Shopify. ***Amazon Seller Central experience is essential***
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to create and produce creative artwork using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator or using online design application Canva.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Photography, video and editing skills would be advantageous to help improve listing content.
  • Proven organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • A background or interest in sport is desirable. Experience of working in the sports industry (in particular cycling, running or triathlon) would be beneficial.
