They are looking to grow their Merchandising team as there are going through a period of growth..DescriptionProvide the Merchandiser and Buyer with the previous season analysis at store and product levelInput into and present information from the quarterly planning packs to Senior ManagementInput into creation of the store strategy with the Merchandiser/Buyer from the local and UK teamAssist in formulation of range plan at store level with the Merchandiser/Buyer from the local and UK teamAssist in the management of OTB quarterly with the Merchandiser and local teamComplete new market project planning work.Prepare weekly review of stores and product in preparation for Monday trading meetingIdentify priorities for the week and propose action plan at Tuesday trade conference callsIdentify Geographical product trends and feedback to Merchandiser and Buyer to impact future rangesEnsure stores are seasonally correct, considering country locationIn season management of store options with reference to range planAnswering queries from local B&M team within marketsManage and monitor exception stocks on a weekly basis, primarily through the GUI systemPlan and Action new store ranges (in conjunction with local team)Taking direction from the Merchandiser, assist retail with merchandising aidsCarry out any ad-hoc analysis as requiredCoach the local team in managing weekly markdown and sale preparationCoach local team with condensing of stocks and IBTs in conjunction with Merchandiser to ensure costs are minimised where possibleTrain the local team in replenishment best practicesInput into the development of Merchandising best practices to be used by local teamsProfile
