High growth IT organisation Is seeking a accounts receivable officer with strong work ethic to join their team located in the Bury area.As the accounts receivable officer, you will report into the finance manager, and will be responsible for a number of receivable and credit based duties.Key Responsibilities* Develop relationships with customers and solving any queries concerning their accounts;* Diligence in recovering outstanding debts by various means, with regular progress reporting to Finance Manager;* Restrict supply to overdue customers whilst working with strict credit control processes;* Daily invoice processing, including upload on Portals;* Investigating anomalies relating to Sales Invoices and Credit Notes;* Daily cash allocation for all customers across multiple bank accounts & processing of credit card payments;* Run monthly reports including outstanding balance and on hold reports;* Credit checks on new and existing customers;* Working closer with Sales and Customer Services teams to resolve any queries;* Producing customer aged debt reports and any ad hoc reporting as required;* Assist with reporting and information requests including statement of accounts;* Providing cover for Finance Assistants;* Assist with the wider finance operations including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Banking and TreasuryTo be considered for this role:* Accounts receivable/credit control experience desired, ideally within service industry or project management* Strong knowledge of accounts receivable/credit control principles & practices.* Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles to suit the audience.* Strong interpersonal skills.* First class organisation/prioritisation and multi-tasking skills with ability to work independently.* Excellent attention to detail & strong analytical skills.* IT skills - competent user of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Excel (VLOOKUP) & Word.For more information on this exciting accounts receivable officer position for an Industry leading IT services business based in the Bury area, or any other finance roles in Greater Manchester or the surrounding area, please contact Dan Collins on or alternativelycall +.Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
